Shootbin was born from years of questions we had with methods and with existing proofing tools. We built the solution we always wished existed: simple, focused, and designed around how photographers actually work.
We were photographers first. We spent years sending photos to clients via email, waiting for feedback buried in long email chains, and constantly wondering which version was the latest. Existing solutions felt bloated, complicated, or just didn't understand how photographers actually work.
Shootbin was created because we needed a tool that actually understood our workflow. Every feature was designed based on real experience in photo studios and on-location shoots. We focused on what matters: clear feedback, organized albums, and a smooth handoff from review to delivery.
We are a small, independent team. No investors, no corporate backing. Just photographers and developers who believe in building software that solves real problems without unnecessary complexity. Your feedback directly shapes how Shootbin evolves.

Founder & Lead Developer
What started as a personal search for a better workflow in my own photography studio grew into a complete platform for photographers. As an active photographer, I ran into fragmented tools and inefficient feedback processes. None of the existing solutions truly matched the way photographers work.
So I built my own system, initially just for personal use. A platform where clients can easily view photos, select their favorites, leave feedback, and approve images, all the way through to final delivery. Everything in one clear and streamlined environment.
After years of testing and refining, I decided to open the platform to other photographers. Today, it is supported by a small team of volunteers, all photographers themselves. This shared experience ensures we understand the real needs of photographers and continue to listen to the community.
Server costs are covered through the studio accounts, allowing us to keep improving the platform. With one clear mission: to build a solution that truly works for photographers.
